Foundation ready fans fun day!

The Salford Red Devils Foundation are looking forward to welcoming fans of all ages to the clubs fan day, and the open training session at the AJ Bell Stadium on Bank Holiday Monday.

The Foundation will be hosting a wide range of activities and challenges, giving you the opportunity to test your skills against the Red Devils first team players.

The fan day will begin at 11am, with the first team taking part in an open training session, allowing supporters to see what life is like behind the scenes at the Red Devils.

Following the open training session there will be an opportunity for fans to meet the players and get photographs and autographs with their favourite Red Devils.

From 12-1, there will be a chance for fans to put their skills on show in an open touch rugby session for over 14’s. There will also be a crossbar challenge competition, in which fans will be able to compete against first team players, with the chance to win a match ticket to our upcoming game against Wigan Warriors.

At 1 o’clock, there will be a tug of war competition, with the winning team of 5 going on to face five of the Red Devils strongest players in a showdown to be crowned champions.

Foundation Director Mark Brocklehurst is looking forwards the welcoming fans to stadium, saying;

“Not only is this a great opportunity for our fantastic supporters to come down and meet the players and watch a training session, but also a great chance for people to find out more about the work we do as a Foundation. We are committed to being of benefit to the clubs supporters and the local community, so it will be great to engage with as many people as possible at the fans day.”

Supporters will also be able to have a look around the Foundations facilities and the clubs heritage museum, which contains a wide range of exhibits from the clubs rich history.

The fans day will begin from 11am on Monday the 30th May at the AJ Bell Stadium; 1 Stadium Way, Eccles, Salford, M30 7EY
