Kingsland Wines support Foundation

 

 

As it seeks to grow even more Salford City Reds Foundation are growing their business partner connections with Kingsland Wines becoming the latest local business to become a Friend of the Foundation. 2013 is the 2nd year the Irlam based firm have made a much appreciated donation to the Foundation as the two organisations share a common goal of supporting the local community they are based in.

The Friends of the Foundation initiative sees a number of local businesses make donations to SCR Foundation to help them deliver more of their sport, health and education based activities across Salford, Greater Manchester and beyond. Kingsland join a growing number of local businesses including Bupa, Salford City College and Lantec who support the Foundation as part of their corporate social responsibility commitments.
Featured in the picture taken at Kingsland’s Irlam headquarters are the Foundation’s Mark Brocklehurst and John Blackburn with their Education and Health project leads Neil Blackburn and Danny Doherty respectively. Representing Kingsland and handing over the cheque is Shontell Tunnicliffe who added “Kingsland are delighted to continue supporting Salford City Reds Foundation and be a Friend of the Foundation. We are committed to supporting local good causes as much as possible and the work that Salford City Reds Foundation does makes a real difference locally”

John Blackburn of the Foundation followed up by saying “we are very happy to continue our partnership with Kingsland. They are very keen to put something back into the local community which they are based in and support numerous good causes. Its great news they continue to be a Friend of the Foundation and we look forward to working closely to make a difference locally”
