Sporting Foundations For Life Update
6 August, 2015
Summer is here and Sporting Foundations For Life (SF4L) are definitely making the most of it. We are now heading into our second year of activity, and we are pleased to say we have created great, lasting links with other foundations.
Our plans for this summer involve working closely with Salford Foundation and the National Citizen Service (NCS). We are now running sessions with young people, for young people.
The “Kids in Parks” initiative is now running in parks all over Salford and Trafford:
These sessions are planned by local NCS students and are ultimately designed to engage young people in their local community, including communal areas such as parks and generally improve their knowledge and involvement in their area. The participants have the opportunity to try not only rugby and cricket, but also tennis, rounders and ultimate Frisbee - to name a few.
If you would like anymore information or would like to get involved contact Sara at the Salford Red Devils Foundation: firstname.lastname@example.org or telephone 0161 786 1591.
