Welcome to the home of Salford Red Devils Foundation
‘Inspiring people through sport, education and health’
SRDF is a registered charity with a remit to deliver sport, health and education based activities across Salford, Greater Manchester and beyond. These activities are to be available to all regardless of background and ability
The Foundation has a vastly experienced full and part time delivery team that is ably assisted by a number of Apprentices and volunteers as we deliver 1000s of hours of community activities each year in the good name of Salford Red Devils.
With the arrival of the excellent AJ Bell Stadium, the Foundation has been able to grow further with large classroom space, space for a museum and access to floodlit astro-turf and grass pitches.
The Foundation now delivers a number of activities ranging from rugby coaching in schools, health assemblies in schools and community club development to ‘back to work’ employment schemes, BTEC Level 2 National Certificate and NHS commissioned work around tobacco control.
We have a real track record in improving people’s lives as we look to reduce family weight problems, improve people’s CVs, help them quit smoking and raise awareness of mental health issues amongst a host of other objectives that are achieved through the medium of Salford Red Devils
