SRDFoundation Delighted to Announce Brian Noble as New Charity Ambassador

The Salford Red Devils Foundation are delighted to be able to announce, team head coach, Brian Noble as a new charity ambassador for the foundation supporting Tackle Smoking activity.

Brian’s involvement in this area was confirmed on Thursday, coinciding with the launch of the clubs new ‘Salford Red Devils’ name and club crest, also coinciding with Brian’s namesake, Dr Marwan Koukash owned horse ‘Brian Noble’ winning The Bet Fred Salford Red Devils Tackle Health E.B.F. Maiden Stakes at Haydock’s annual Sprint Cup Festival.

While the timing of such racing success was coincidental, the decision to invite Brian to contribute to this area of the Foundation’s activity certainly isn’t, with Brian bringing his determination and ‘can do’ spirit to raising awareness of Foundation Tackle Smoking activities.

Foundation Health Officer, Danny Doherty said, “We’re ever so pleased that Brian has agreed to join the ambassador team in raising awareness and understanding of Tackle Smoking activity. As a leading coach with a wealth of sporting experience and pedigree, Brian’s unique skills and experience will be invaluable in spreading this message with enthusiasm, while inspiring community members involved with the scheme.”

Brian Noble himself said, “I’m pleased to have the opportunity to support such a worthwhile endeavour. The benefits of quitting smoking are widely known to all, and any positive impact I can have in furthering this message within the Salford community is one I am keen to make.”
