Community Club News - Salford City Roosters

This weekend Salford City Roosters played in the RFL Conference Challenge Trophy Quarter Final against Egremont Rangers from The Northern Conference League Premier Division.

To make it through to the Quarter Final Salford City Roosters had Skirlaugh in Round 1 currently in Salford's Division in the NCL Division One. Salford came through that game with an 18 - 12 victory which lead them through to a round 2 tie against Lock Lane.

Salford were underdogs and a game in which they played Lock Lane who are currently 2nd in the NCL Premier Division. Salford battled through beating Lock Lane 28 - 20 this lead them through to the Quarter Final again against higher placed opponents in Egremont Rangers. 

This proved to be a push to far with Salford eventually losing out 12 - 38.
