Embed The Pathway Development Days

The latest in our Salford Red Devils 'Embed The Pathway' development days took place this week, Tuesday 25th, Wednesday 26th and Thursday 27th of August.

The focus of the Develop Days is to maintain and advance young Rugby League stars of the future.

Through professional-standard coaching, attendees took part in fitness sessions and particularly game-specific skills.

Over 70 budding Rugby League players were in attendance, with many already playing in local teams such as Folly Lane and Langworthy Reds.

The sessions were incredibly well-received, and we have even had positive words from parents of attendees.

Parent Karen Wake said her son really enjoyed the sessions: "My son Jack had a fantastic time at the ETP days, he got so much out of it. It has made him determined to work hard and learn more.

"After the first day at the sessions, which I came to watch, he has not stopped talking about it.  I would like to say a massive thank you for the opportunity you have given, and how you have shown Jack what is out there if you work hard and listen."

We really appreciate the feedback and acknowledgement for the hard work both the coaches and attendees have been putting in.

Danny Barton, Development Manager and organiser of the days said: "We are glad to see that those who attended the session really enjoyed themselves. The Development Days really allow the boys to move skills they have learnt on, develop them further and help them to move forward within Rugby League."

There will be more sessions to come. If you are interested, please contact danny.barton@thereddevils.net or follow us on Twitter @SRDFoundation for our latest news and events.
