Foundation Looking for BLF Project Officers

 

SRD Foundation is looking to appoint 3 Development Officers to support the Project Manager and delivery of our Big Lottery Funded Big Hits Project. The 3 year project will see SRDF deliver a comprehensive programme of activities across Salford and Trafford, which will increase beneficiary young people’s ability to find work and higher educational opportunities. These young people will work alongside the Development Officers to meet the projects target of engaging 6000 in physical activity opportunities 

 

 

The Development Officer will assist the Project Manager in the second phase of the project which will see project beneficiaries utilise their new skills to benefit the wider community. The Development Officer will work in local schools and community groups, often during anti-social hours, to give back to the community. Particular focus is to be given to hard to reach areas and groups. The Development Officer will be tasked with finding structured long term opportunities for newly qualified participants to gain valuable work experiences with these partner schools and community groups
