Gus Risman Under 8's Festival
This Wednesday the Salford Red Devils organised an Under 8’s Rugby League Festival.
The festival took place at Langworthy Reds in Oakwood Park and was named the ‘Gus Risman’ Cup.

Ran by members of the Salford Red Devils Foundation team, it involved local rugby clubs, as part of the ‘Sky Try’ initiative.
The clubs included;
Salford Roosters
Folly Lane Lions
Folly Lane Crusaders
Langworthy Reds
Bury Broncos
All children involved received a certificate, presented by Adrian Morley. The 'Gus Risman' trophy was awarded to Bury Broncos for fairplay, congratulations to the whole team!
It is the first time we have ran this competition and we hope to continue the success into further years.
This festival, alongside the success of our Chris Hesketh U12’s festival last week, further highlights our commitment to local community sports.
